Porky’s Revenge Ride and Race – August 4

Fernie Trails is running our third annual bike event on Saturday, August 4. Last year’s Porky Blue Ride will be replaced by both a 16 kilometer ride and a 28 kilometer loop race that starts at 11 am at the Fernie Aquatic Center. Both events will use the Castle Mountain Trail System that we built and maintain. The riding routes will be well marked and signed.

Registration before the event is at the Guides Hut on 2nd Avenue, downtown Fernie. Out of town can sign-up by donating $30 (16km ride) or $50 (28km race) on the home page on this website. Pre-race registration, waiver signing and number plate issue is from 8:00 am to 10:30 am in front of The Gear Hub (4th street & 1st Ave) in downtown Fernie. Event is limited to the first 200 to sign up.

The Fernie Hotel is sponsoring a dinner and beer garden after the event. You will receive a bike number plate, T-shirt, dinner ticket and door prizes with your registration.
