Fernie 3 Volunteers Needed

The Fernie Transrockies Society is seeking volunteers to help with the Fernie 3 all mountain stage race. As in past years the Fernie Trails and Ski Touring Club has helped with the course setting in exchange for a generous cash donation to the club and for you…some swag, beer, food and a cool t-shirt.

Course setting involves riding the course and posting directional sign arrows, changing a few arrows during the event and ensuring the critical corners remain marked, and removing the signs following the days stage.

Event dates/tasks:
Friday, June 26th, Stage 1 marking
Saturday, June 27th, Stage 2 marking, stage 1 check and tear down
Sunday, June 28th, Stage 3 marking, stage 2 check and tear down
Monday, June 29th, Stage 3 check and tear down

We are looking for riders to commit to a stage, email fts@fernie.com to volunteer.
