A group of us rode Porky Blue last Sunday. The double-track in from Coal Creek Summit was a bit wet but all good riding. The single-track traverse to Fernie Ridge involved some walking on scattered snow remnants. The ride down was excellent all the way and the Coal Discovery Trail back to Fernie is in great shape. We cleaned up all the fallen trees along the 25 kilometer route from Coal Creek Summit. There will probably be very little snow or mud for the Porky Blue Ride this Saturday, July 30 and it should be an excellent ride.
