Hyper Ventilation

Our Trail Crew hiked and cut fallen trees on Roots, Hyper Ventilation, Castle Rocks and South Castle on May 21. Hyper Ventilation can be cycled to the summit with only one hike at the top to avoid snow. Castle Rocks traverse is still snowbound but South Castle and Castle Mountain are nearly free of snow. George’s Bar & Grill was open for the trail crew on Castle Summit.

Recommended ride is Roots from the powerline, up Hyper Ventilation and then return back down and take Mitchie’s new Uprooted Trail at the base of Hyper Ventilation. Hyper Extension is still buried with snow.

There is also good riding over on Proctor Mountain. Mad Cow is snow free and dry but Swine Flu involves some short hikes in snow (May 23). On Mad Cow you will notice some nice improvements by Matt and Mitch last week.
