Three Sisters Hike

Last weekend a group of us hiked the second sister via the old school route, Olivia Creek locally known as Camp 4. Access to the trail head is gained from the camp 4 road, the first left turn after the Hartley lake summit. This is an old 4X4 road which is seldom used anymore, not a place you want to be taking your $60k suv.
This route takes about 4 hours at a fairly steady pace to reach the summit. There were still a lot of snow patches to cross, way more than usual for August. The Three Sisters is still my favorite hike in the Fernie area. It is over 9,000 feet and the views are absolutely stunning.
