Volunteers

The following offers a guideline to the hut booking system organized by Fernie Trails and Ski Touring Club.

In order to recognize the significant hours of volunteer time it takes to operate and maintain the hut system we allow early access to members based on their time spent volunteering for the club.

The volunteers have access to bookings only. They are still required to carry a current membership and pay the full value for each night booked.

These bookings are to be used directly by the volunteer and are non transferable.

The outlined system allows early access to approximately 33% of available nights.

It should be noted that weekend dates throughout the winter season are highly sought after and that members with early access are asked to avoid weekend bookings where possible.
