Tunnel Creek and Thunder Meadows Cabins 2021/22

The province has permitted opening backcountry cabins under Phase 3 of the provincial reopening plan. As such the club will reopen the cabins putting in place the following operational procedures to minimize risk of Covid-19 infection transmission.

1. Cabins are available for booking by Covid -19 fully vaccinated users only.

2. The group must supply contact telephone and email for all guests when booking online to permit contact tracing.

3. All members of the group must read, understand and sign the online waiver agreement.

4. Maximum group size is 6 for Thunder Meadows and 4 for Tunnel Creek.

5. It is suggested that groups consist of a single household or 1 family unit limit.

6. Groups must bring their own sanitizing supplies, and use them for dishes, utensils and high touch surfaces as per instructions by BC Centers for Disease control. There will be no dish clothes or towels provided, you must bring your own.

7. Groups will check out at 11 AM and new groups check in no earlier than 2 PM to minimize interaction between groups and allow sanitized items to dry.

8. There remains a no-refund-policy unless the Province of BC recloses backcountry cabins.

9. When booking, guests must agree that they will stay home if they are sick will not go to the cabin if at the time of their trip they have any disqualifications as outlined in the following Disqualification Screening Tool.
