Tunnel Creek and Thunder Meadows Bookings

THERE IS AVAILABILITY IN APRIL AND BOOKINGS ARE NOW OPEN FOR JULY 1 TO THE END OF OCTOBER. THERE ARE A FEW DAYS IN APRIL AVAILABLE AND THE TOURING CAN BE VERY GOOD. MAY CAN ALSO BE GOOD AND WE’LL CONSIDER OPENING FOR MAY DEPENDING ON CONDITIONS.

The Fernie Trails & Ski Touring Club’s 2020 & 2021 Membership is now available. Support Fernie’s trail network and book a cabin!

The province has permitted opening backcountry cabins under Phase 3 of the provincial reopening plan. As such the club has reopened the cabins and put in place a COVID Operations PLAN. Booking rules, waivers, capacity, what to bring and cleaning have changed to please read and understand the new covid policy before booking.

On November 1, 2020 at 9AM MST bookings went online for the period ending on January 31, 2021. On January 15, 2021 at 9am bookings go online for February & March and the remainder of the winter season.

As in past years there are no refunds unless BC Health closes the cabins and only then will there be a refund. Otherwise we consider your booking a donation and thank you in advance.
