Florida Bowl Ski Tour Easter Sunday

Where else but Fernie can you go skiing in a 5 meter snow pack in the morning and then go mountain biking in the afternoon? On Easter Sunday 4 of us did a heli drop on the top of Mount Proctor, skied Florida Bowl, Shit I Don’t Know Bowl, Skinned up and skied Dogleg 2 and the exited via Dock Creek. We were back in Fernie by noon, getting ourselves out of avalanche terrain before things got too warm.Here is the crew at the top of Proctor. I can’t think of a better spot to enjoy a morning coffee!Florida Bowl.A view from the top of the world. It just doesn’t get much better! Well ok it does get better!
